Oh, baby! So as I've mentioned before, the world of photography has its ups and its downs. This was a perfect example of both. Meet Carter. This sweet 5 week old bundle of joy came into the studio on a day where it seemed as though nothing was going right. But my luck would change thanks to her. Not only was Carter a gorgeous subject but she was so calm and as cooperative as any 5 week old could be! :D Mommy & Daddy were pretty awesome too! I think they sensed my jitters (or maybe I told them LOL). Their cool, calm, and collective ways definitely helped lighten the day! I'm so glad and fortunate to have had this little family come through the doors. They brightened my day by simply being themselves. The moral of the story: Sometimes things don't always run as smoothly as you would like them and sometimes you are pleasantly surprised! It's all part of the journey right?

Robert, Jordan, & Dani | Family
Can you think of anything better than capturing a warm, loving family playing, laughing, and just having a great time together? I can't. And that's what I loved about working with Robert, Jordan, and Dani. Mother nature wasn't exactly cooperating the day of our shoot but that didn't stop them from making the most of it and having fun. There was sand throwing, water splashing, and more. I even caught a certain someone on camera being dunked in the ocean water but I won't mention any names LOL ;)

Amaury & Julian | Siblings
Is there anything greater than the bond between siblings??

It's amazing how much changes over time. When I first met Gail, her little man Amaury, now 12, was only 5 years old! Fast forward 7 years and Amaury has a little brother named Julian. These boys were so great to work with! The brotherly love they have for one another shined even through all the rough play LOL!
Did I mention their GORGEOUS 6 month old Pitbull, Diesel was in on our Christmas shoot?? Check out this puppy dressed as Santa!!! <3

Jordan | Newborn
Everyone, this is Jordan. Jordan, this is everyone.
After 9 months of waiting and 24+ hours of labor for Mom, Jordan Alexander made his grand entrance into the world weighing in at a whopping 8lbs., 1 oz.
It was the most amazing thing to witness this bundle of joy being born. The first thing I noticed was his adorable dimples - they had stolen my heart! I absolutely could not wait to get this little guy in the studio for a newborn session. He didn’t know it yet, but he was going to be my new favorite subject Lol!

About a week later, it was time and I was ready! I was going to capture all the tremendous amounts of adorableness that is baby Jordan! The session went nice and smooth as planned. “Baby J” was so good to me! He ate, he slept, and he ate and slept some more ;) Could I have asked for a better baby to photograph??

Janice | Maternity
One of the greatest feelings of being a photographer is capturing special moments in someone's life. Especially when that someone is close to your heart. For me, this was one of those times.
One of my best friends, Janice, is expecting a little bundle of joy next month and I am just over-the-moon excited! It almost brings me back to the day my baby boy was on his way! With that feeling stirring, I knew I had to capture this unforgetable time for her.
Although very hot, the day was absolutely gorgeous and Mother Nature was on our side. Janice, our other best friend Vanessa, myself, and my munchkin all piled up in the car - This was going to be a family outing! We found the perfect little spot. While shooting, we joked, we laughed and we talked about what the future might bring. It made for an amazing day with my son and my "sisters" and I couldn't have been more pleased with the outcome!

A Family Limo | Corporate Events
Operating since 1999, A Family Limo is the epitome of what hard work and dedication brings. Starting out with just one 9-passenger limousine and one driver - Mr. George Asseraf (owner) himself and working their way up the ladder, they are now a well-known, highly recommended South Florida business that has expanded their services as far North as Orlando. They currently have 17 vehicles, 20 drivers, and the most wonderful, professional, and courteous office staff I've had the pleasure of knowing!
Recently, they decided to move their office. And what better way to do so than a Grand Re-Opening?? Oh, the anticipation... The hype... The buildup for this day! After weeks of online, radio, and word of mouth promoting, the morning had arrived and it was time to rock and roll!! Hundreds came out to see the fleet of beautiful limousines and the staff welcomed each and every one of them with a smile... AMAZING!! As if that wasn't enough there were DJ's from Y-100 broadcasting live on the radio (oh yes, I said Y-100 lol), TV star Andrea Penoyer of "Police Women of Broward County", Broward Sherriff's Officers, food, giveaways, a live performance and meet & greet by local sensation Nick Merico and the list goes on! Before we knew it, it was 6PM!! What a day!
I had so much fun capturing this event that honestly, I can hardly call it "work". What a lucky girl I am :) It was an absolute pleasure to work with George and rest of the staff. Wishing all the best to AFL in their future endeavors!! I can't wait to see what new heights this company will reach in the years to come.

Susan & Lamont | Wedding
I must admit that when Susan called me and asked if I would photograph her big day, I was nervous. I mean, I usually get the jittery, adrenaline rush before each shoot but this was different. This was.... MY FIRST WEDDING! In my opinion, I had just stepped into the major leagues of the photography world!
I met with the soon-to-be Bride and was pleased to see that she was so calm, cool, and collected. She showed me the set up - a gorgeous ceremony on a golf course at sunset! We walked through what they would be doing and when, and she gave me a feel for what she and her future Hubby were looking for. They were a very easy going couple - what I like to think of as "simply classy". It was nice to know that, in a sense, we connected. Between that connection and knowing that I would have a second set of hands with me for a little moral support and backup (I can always count on my buddy Sam ), I was going to be just fine.
For weeks I could think of nothing other than this wedding and how I was going to get all the right shots, the lighting, the posing... Then the day FINALLY arrived! Susan and Lamont were radiant! I could literally feel the beautiful energy surrounding them and they were just as happy as could be. As we got a few pre-ceremony shots, the nerves slowed down, we shared a few laughs, and the sun began to set. The moment was here. It was show time....
And in the blink of an eye, it was as if the entire world stood still and honored the new "Mr. & Mrs. Lamont Barrett".
